How we choose our featured local agents
Each place on the site has one featured local agent. Featured agents are paid partners. This page explains the bar they have to meet and what "featured" means.
The bar
- Licensed and in good standing with the California Department of Real Estate.
- Active in the place we feature them for, with recent sales or listings there.
- A verifiable record: reviews on public sites and sales we can check.
- Responsive: enquiries from the site are answered promptly.
What "featured" means
Featured agents pay to be featured. They do not write or approve our guides, market data or rankings, and payment does not change any number on the site. If an agent stops meeting the bar, we remove them.
